AMS Chopper
Description
This unique specimen from AMS impresses with its mint condition and outstanding Swiss workmanship. The solid 1340 Harley-Davidson EVO engine was bored by S&S to 1600 cc and fitted with a flap exhaust system. The add-on parts are made of milled aircraft aluminum - DTC certificates for the add-on parts and tuning measures are available.
The paintwork is original and a matter of taste, but should be left as it is. After all, the color suits the bike very well. The bike has recently been fitted with a new oil pump, new valves and a new camshaft. The previously installed sharp camshaft was a little too stubborn for the owner.
The new price of the machine was well over CHF 70,000.

Model history
The Swiss company AMS has been in existence since 1983 and is still dedicated to the repair, conversion and modification of exclusively Harley Davidson motorcycles.
After years of importing all accessories from the USA, the company decided in 1990 to produce its own AMS line of beautiful, high-quality and exclusively Swiss-made parts for the various Harley Davidson models. In the meantime, the range includes various fork goggles, footrest pre-positions, 4-, 6- and 8-piston brake calipers, floating brake discs as well as master brake cylinders and handlebar fittings - all compatible for Harley Davidson, with TÜV and CH approval.
With the experience gained from manufacturing products, the company created its own motorcycle based on the American chopper style, but refined with its own products and fitted with today's technical refinements such as wide tires etc. as standard. Building the bike with AMS's own products in its own workshop gave the customer complete freedom to design the bike in his own style and according to his own wishes.
