Dieser 65er Chevrolet C-10 Pickup l\u00e4sst wohl jeden Passanten und auch erfahrene US-Car-Freaks zweimal hinschauen. Die Aussenhaut wurde komplett mit einem Rost-Effektlack behandelt und so kommt dieser Pickup auch richtig rattig daher. Unter der Haube, im Innenraum und untenrum ist die Maschine daf\u00fcr nahezu klinisch sauber. Ein Kontrast, den man nur selten sieht und der auch nicht jedem Fahrzeug gleichermassen steht.<\/p>

Unter der Haube schnurrt ein 5.7 Liter V8, der in Verbindung mit einem 4-Gang-Schaltgetiebe und einer langen Hinterachse f\u00fcr ein sehr angenehmes Fahrgef\u00fchl bei jeder Geschwindigkeit sorgt.<\/p>

\u00abEchten\u00bb Rost sucht man an dieser Maschine vergebens und der Veteraneneintrag w\u00e4re bei diesem Zustand selbstverst\u00e4ndlich aber die Lackierung l\u00e4sst diesen leider nicht zu.<\/p>

Mit der C\/K-Serie der GM-Pickups wurde 1960 die Nachfolge der Task-Force-Serie auf den Markt gebracht. Das neue Modell des leichten Pickups (Apache) kam mit neuem Karosseriedesign und einigen wichtigen Updates. Zu den wichtigsten davon z\u00e4hlten der neue, in der Mitte abgesenkte Leiterrahmen, der ein niedriger sitzendes F\u00fchrerhaus erm\u00f6glichte, und die Einzelradaufh\u00e4ngung vorne, die dem Pick-up ein fast Pkw-\u00e4hnliches Fahrverhalten erm\u00f6glichte. Ebenfalls neu war die Bezeichnung der GM-Pickups. Die alten Bezeichnungen f\u00fcr den Halbtonner mit kurzem Fahrgestell, den Halbtonner mit langem Fahrgestell und den Dreivierteltonner \u2013 3100, 3200 und 3600 \u2013 wurden durch die Bezeichnungen 10, 20 und 30 f\u00fcr Halbtonner, Dreivierteltonner und Eintonner ersetzt.<\/p>

Bereits seit 1957 gab es die GM-Pickups ab Werk auch mit Allradantrieb \u2013 erkennbar an den Bezeichnungen C f\u00fcr die Heckschleuder und K f\u00fcr die Allrad-Version. Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den K\u00fcrzeln, die auf die Nutzlast und den Antrieb hinwiesen, gab es noch Bezeichnungen, um die leichten von den mittleren und den ganz dicken Burschen zu unterscheiden. Die Serien 10, 20 und 30 (C oder K) wurden als Apache, die Serien 40, 50 und 60 hiessen Viking und die grossen Serien 70, 80 und 90 h\u00f6rten auf den Namen Spartan.<\/p>

The Chevrolet C\/K pick-ups were available in 1960 as Fleetside or Stepside, at GMC the models were called Wideside and Fenderside. GMC only offered all-wheel drive versions with the designation K.<\/p>

1962 erhielt der Pickup einen Torsionsstab an der Vorderachse und gezogene L\u00e4ngslenker an der Hinterachse. Es gab eine Standardausstattung und eine gehobene Custom-Ausstattung. Als Antrieb stand bei GMC ein 5,0-Liter-V6-Motor zur Verf\u00fcgung, sonst Reihensechszylinder mit 3,9 oder 4,3 Liter Hubraum und Leistungen von 99 und 110 kW, sowie ein 4,6-Liter-V8 mit 136 kW.<\/p>

Ab 1963 erhielten die Vorderachsen Schraubenfedern, und ein neuer Standardmotor fand Verwendung: Ein Reihensechszylinder mit 3,8 Liter Hubraum und 103 kW Leistung. Auf Wunsch gab es auch einen 4,8-Liter-R6 mit 121 kW. 1964 wurde das F\u00fchrerhaus ver\u00e4ndert, wobei die Panorama-Windschutzscheibe wegfiel. Es wurden ein neuer K\u00fchlergrill sowie verschiedene \u00c4nderungen im Innenraum realisiert wurden. Eine Klimaanlage und einen 5,4-Liter-V8-Motor mit 162 kW Leistung und einer H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit von 137 km\/h gab es 1965.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
