Dieser 280 SE geh\u00f6rt zu den ersten Fahrzeugen der 1972 eingef\u00fchrten Modellreihe W116 und ist damit eines der ersten S-Klasse-Exemplare \u00fcberhaupt. Der Wagen wurde vor ein paar Jahren bei Mercedes M\u00fcnchen von Grund auf restauriert und nach dem Import in die Schweiz wurde noch der Motor bei Brogli in Windisch revidiert. Die Restauration hat satte 68’000 Euro gekostet und die Motorrevision hat mit 15’000 CHF zu Buche geschlagen. Der Vorbesitzer hat diesen Wagen mehr als geliebt und auch nach der Restauration sehr gepflegt.<\/p>\n

Da der Wagen seit der Restauration nur gut 5’000 Kilometer bewegt wurde, soll er nun an einen neuen Besitzer \u00fcbergehen. Der Zustand ist ausgezeichnet und Rost, Dellen oder Kratzer sucht man vergebens. Alles funktioniert wie es soll und der Wagen gleitet heute noch ebenso luxuri\u00f6s \u00fcber die Strassen wie vor 50 Jahren.<\/p>

Der W116, wie man ihn hier angeboten bekommt, ist der erste seiner Art. Der W116 ist n\u00e4mlich die erste S-Klasse \u00fcberhaupt und markierte 1972 den Anfang der erfolgreichen Luxuslimousine von Mercedes.<\/span><\/p>

Der W116 war innen wie aussen, trotz des nicht mehr ganz zeitgem\u00e4ssen Chroms, deutlich moderner als sein Vorg\u00e4nger. Der W 116 l\u00f6st die Baureihen W108\/109 ab und wird an der IAA mit den Typen 280 S, 280 SE und 350 SE vorgestellt. In den Typen 280ern kam der Reihensechser M 110 mit zwei oben liegenden Nockenwellen zum Einsatz und der 350 SE wurde vom V8 namens M 116 angetrieben. Ein halbes Jahr nach Markteinf\u00fchrung folgte der 450 SE mit dem 4.5-Liter-V8, genannt M 117.<\/p>

Die Baureihe 116 verf\u00fcgte als erstes Serienfahrzeug \u00fcber eine Doppelquerlenker-Vorderradaufh\u00e4ngung mit Lenkrollradius null und Bremsnick-Abst\u00fctzung, Diese erm\u00f6glichte eine deutliche Verbesserung der Fahreigenschaften.<\/p>

In Sachen Sicherheit punktete die S-Klasse nat\u00fcrlich auch: Der Tank fand sich nicht mehr im Heck, sondern war kollisionsgesch\u00fctzt \u00fcber der Hinterachse verbaut, im Innenraum sorgten das stark gepolsterte Armaturenbrett, deformierbare oder versenkt angeordnete Schalter und Hebel sowie ein Vierspeichen-Sicherheitslenkrad mit Pralltopf f\u00fcr angemessenen Aufprallschutz. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurde die ganze Sicherheits-Fahrgastzelle inklusive der T\u00fcren rundum verst\u00e4rkt.<\/p>

Besonders am W116 sind auch die Windleitprofile an den A-S\u00e4ulen, die bei Regen als Schmutzwasserrinnen dienten und die Seitenscheiben auch bei ung\u00fcnstiger Witterung sauber hielten.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
