Dieses Exemplar aus dem Jahr 1988 ist ein authentischer Laredo in gepflegtem Originalzustand \u2013 mit technischer Frischekur und ungebrochener Abenteuerlust.<\/p>

Angetrieben wird der Wrangler von einem bew\u00e4hrten 4.2-Liter-Reihensechszylinder mit kernigem Sound, mechanischer Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit und reichlich Drehmoment. Die Automatik schaltet sauber und der zuschaltbare 4×4-Allradantrieb mit Untersetzung funktioniert einwandfrei \u2013 bereit f\u00fcr Gel\u00e4nde, Schnee oder Strand.<\/p>

Die Ausstattungsvariante Laredo ist die luxuri\u00f6seste der Modellreihe \u2013 sofern man in einem YJ \u00fcberhaupt den Begriff Luxus verwenden darf. Der Innenraum sieht sensationell gut aus, ist sehr gut in Schuss und so einfach wie funktional gestaltet.<\/p>

Das Serviceheft ist prall gef\u00fcllt und erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte des Wagens bis zur\u00fcck zum Neukauf. Vor gut 11’000 Kilometern hat der Jeep einen neuen, originalen Motor erhalten, da das urspr\u00fcngliche Aggregat nach der Standzeit von 1999 bis 2012 nicht wieder auferstanden ist. S\u00e4mtliche Originaldokumente liegen noch im Fahrzeug.<\/p>

Mit der Einf\u00fchrung des Jeep Wrangler YJ im Jahr 1986 (Modelljahr 1987) schlug Jeep ein neues Kapitel auf \u2013 und gleichzeitig Wellen bei Puristen. Nach \u00fcber vier Jahrzehnten CJ-Tradition kam ein Modell, das den Spagat zwischen klassischem Offroader und alltagstauglichem Freizeitmobil wagen sollte.<\/p>

Die Entwicklung des YJ wurde von AMC (American Motors Corporation) geleitet \u2013 noch vor der \u00dcbernahme durch Chrysler im Jahr 1987. Man hat versucht, das markante Jeep-Gesicht zu modernisieren, ohne den Charakter zu verlieren \u2013 was zur ber\u00fchmten Diskussion um die rechteckigen Frontscheinwerfer f\u00fchrte, da diese eine klare Abkehr vom runden Look der CJ-Serie war.<\/p>

Technisch basierte der YJ auf dem bew\u00e4hrten CJ-7, erhielt jedoch zahlreiche Verbesserungen: ein verbesserter Rahmen, breitere Spur, l\u00e4ngere Blattfedern f\u00fcr besseren Fahrkomfort und ein robusteres Fahrwerk. Die Sicherheitsstandards wurden erstmals h\u00f6her gesetzt \u2013 mit serienm\u00e4ssigen Sicherheitsgurten, verbesserter Lenkung und einem etwas zivileren Innenraum.<\/p>

Unter der Haube arbeitete im Laredo meist der legend\u00e4re 4.2-Liter-Reihensechszylinder (AMC 258), ein drehmomentstarker Langhuber mit enormer Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit. In sp\u00e4teren Baujahren wurde dieser durch den 4.0-Liter-HO ersetzt, aber der 4.2 blieb f\u00fcr viele der \u201eechte\u201c Wrangler-Motor. Kombiniert wurde er mit einem manuellen 5-Gang-Getriebe (AX-15) oder einer 3-Stufen-Automatik.<\/p>

Der Laredo war dabei die edelste Ausstattungslinie: mit verchromten Anbauteilen, analogen Rundinstrumenten mit Chromringen, bequemen Sportsitzen und oft in Zweifarblackierung. Trotz allem blieb er ein echter Wrangler: mit Starrachsen, zuschaltbarem 4WD, einem separaten Leiterrahmen und vollst\u00e4ndig abnehmbarer Karosserie \u2013 Softtop, Hardtop oder offen, wie es beliebt.<\/p>

Bis 1995 wurden \u00fcber 630.000 YJs produziert. Der Laredo ist dabei heute ein seltener Fund, besonders in gutem Originalzustand. Er war der erste \u201ezivilisierte\u201c Wrangler \u2013 aber mit genug rohem Charme, um im Gel\u00e4nde zu bestehen.<\/p>

Heute gilt der YJ als bindendes Glied zwischen den rauen CJ-Modellen und den modernen JK\/JL-Baureihen \u2013 rustikal, robust und mit einer kantigen Seele, die ihn zur echten Offroad-Ikone macht.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
