Wer glaubt, dass Sammlerautos immer alt, rostig und zahm sein m\u00fcssen, hat diese Corvette hier noch nicht erlebt: Die 2007er Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Edition ist ein moderner Klassiker \u2013 laut, selten und ziemlich kompromisslos. Es gab nur 399 Exemplare weltweit, davon 300 f\u00fcr die USA, 33 f\u00fcr Kanada und 66 f\u00fcr den Export \u2013 und diese tr\u00e4gt stolz neben der handsignierten Unterschrift die Nummer 125.<\/p>

Ausgeliefert wurde sie mit dem legend\u00e4ren 7.0-Liter-V8 LS7-Motor, welcher in diesem Fahrzeug an der Hinterachse gemessene 525 PS leistet. Kein Turbo, kein Schnickschnack \u2013 nur reines, amerikanisches Saugmotor-Drama, gepaart mit einem straffen 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe. Der Sprint von 0 auf 100 km\/h? In unter 4 Sekunden, begleitet von G\u00e4nsehaut und einem tiefen Grummeln, das eher nach Donnergrollen klingt als nach Motorlauf.<\/p>

Die ALMS GT1 Championship Edition ist eine Hommage an den Rennfahrer Ron Fellows und seine herausragenden Leistungen bei den American Le Mans Series Championships von 2001 bis 2006. Die Sonderedition zeichnet sich durch eine Lackierung in Arctic White mit Kotfl\u00fcgelstreifen in Monterey Red Metallic aus, die Fellows‘ kanadische Wurzeln und die sechs GT1-Hersteller-Meisterschaften von Corvette Racing symbolisieren. Das Interieur jeder Ron Fellows Edition Z06 war mit zweifarbigem Leder in Ebenholz und Rot ausgestattet, akzentuiert durch Fellows‘ Unterschrift auf dem inneren Deckel der Mittelkonsole.<\/p>

Die Vollausstattung war dem Vorbesitzer nicht genug und er hat den Wagen weiter optimieren lassen: Die Heckscheibe wurde innen und aussen foliert, die Schaltwege verk\u00fcrzt (original vorhanden), die Spurverbreiterung eingetragen und die Sitzpolster aussen verst\u00e4rkt, was f\u00fcr optimalen Halt im Supersportwagen sorgt. Dazu ist die originale Klappensteuerung nun manuell bedienbar.<\/p>

Dieses Exemplar wurde gepflegt und enthusiastisch bewegt, ist unfallfrei, original und mit l\u00fcckenloser Historie. Kein Showcar f\u00fcr die Vitrine, sondern ein Musclecar f\u00fcr Kenner, die ein St\u00fcck echte Rennsport-DNA in der Garage wollen.<\/p>

Interessant: F\u00fcr das Modelljahr 2007 war die Farbe Arctic White ausschliesslich f\u00fcr die 399 Ron Fellows Editions verf\u00fcgbar.<\/p>

Die Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Championship Edition wurde 2007 als limitierte Sonderauflage der C6 Z06 vorgestellt \u2013 eine Hommage an den erfolgreichen kanadischen Rennfahrer Ron Fellows, der in der American Le Mans Series (ALMS) und bei Langstreckenklassikern wie Le Mans mehrfach f\u00fcr Corvette Racing Siege einfuhr.<\/p>

Die Z06 der C6-Generation (gebaut 2006\u20132013) war bereits ab Werk ein High-Performance-Fahrzeug, deutlich kompromissloser als die Basis-Corvette. Herzst\u00fcck war der LS7-V8-Saugmotor mit 7.0 Litern Hubraum, gefertigt in Handarbeit im GM Performance Build Center. Er leistete offiziell 505 hp (512 PS) bei 6.300 U\/min und war damit der bis dato st\u00e4rkste Saugmotor in einem Serien-Chevy. Gepaart mit einem Trockensumpfschmiersystem, leichten Titanpleueln und natriumgek\u00fchlten Ventilen war der LS7 ein echtes Motorsporttriebwerk f\u00fcr die Strasse.<\/p>

Die Z06 unterschied sich auch strukturell deutlich von der Standard-Corvette: Aluminiumrahmen statt Stahl, Magnesium-Elemente, Karbonkotfl\u00fcgel und ein spezielles Fahrwerk mit Bilstein-D\u00e4mpfern, Differenzialsperre und Performance-Reifen. Das Leergewicht lag trotz V8-Power bei rund 1.420 kg \u2013 ein Topwert f\u00fcr diese Leistungsklasse.<\/p>

Die Ron Fellows Edition wurde 2007 in streng limitierter St\u00fcckzahl produziert: 399 Fahrzeuge weltweit, davon 300 f\u00fcr den US-Markt, 33 f\u00fcr Kanada und 66 f\u00fcr den Export. Alle Fahrzeuge waren in Arctic White lackiert \u2013 ein Farbton, der sonst f\u00fcr die Z06 nicht verf\u00fcgbar war. Die Edition war zus\u00e4tzlich mit roten Motorsport-Streifen versehen, Signature-Schriftz\u00fcgen, einer nummerierten Plakette und roten Akzenten im Interieur ausgestattet. Die Sitze trugen eine spezielle Stickerei, w\u00e4hrend die Konsole in rotem Leder ausgef\u00fchrt war.<\/p>

Ron Fellows selbst war eng in die Planung der Sonderedition eingebunden und signierte die Fahrzeuge. Die Sonderedition ist bis heute die erste offizielle Corvette-Sonderserie, die nach einem aktiven Rennfahrer benannt wurde. Sie spiegelt die enge Verbindung von Chevrolet zur Rennstrecke wider und unterstreicht die Rolle der Z06 als \u201eTrack Car for the Road\u201c.<\/p>

Technisch blieben alle Z06-Modelle der Edition unver\u00e4ndert \u2013 was kein Nachteil war: Mit einer H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit von rund 320 km\/h, einem aktiven Handlingpaket und Renninspirierter Technik bleibt die Ron Fellows Z06 bis heute eines der begehrtesten Sammlermodelle der C6-\u00c4ra.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
