Waterless coolant for old casting technology (mainly English manufacturers) without nodular graphite technology, or aluminum components, where components are also made of copper and brass, up to approx. 1945.

EVANS waterless coolants are a real alternative to conventional coolants, especially for all young and vintage vehicles. Thanks to its boiling point above 180 °C, EVANS does not evaporate, which prevents overheating due to boiling. The operating temperature can rise slightly (up to approx. +10 °C), but then remains constant. Reduces the pressure.

Less pressure protects the water hoses, the radiator, the water pump and the rest of the cooling system. Water promotes corrosion through oxidation and electrolysis. EVANS contains no oxygen and therefore protects the cooling system from corrosion. In addition, there is no silting or calcification without water. Even at normal operating temperatures, there is a risk of vapor bubbles forming in the engine, which can lead to local overheating of the material (hot spots). These cause misfiring and damage the cylinder head gasket and engine components. EVANS eliminates these hot spots - the engine becomes more efficient.

EVANS significantly reduces cavitation and therefore pitting compared to conventional coolants. The freezing point of EVANS is below -40 ºC. Because EVANS does not evaporate, coolant loss is reduced to almost zero. Vehicles can easily operate for more than 20 years or more than one million kilometers without replacing the fluid. Conventional fluids have to be replaced after 2-3 years (according to the manufacturer), as acidic ageing puts too much strain on the entire cooling system.

The products are non-toxic according to EU standard CLP 1272/2008, but are not suitable for human consumption. EVANS waterless coolants work optimally when the entire cooling circuit is operated with a water pump. However, EVANS is not suitable for complete or partial thermosiphon cooling in the engine.
